Hytekocean held a grand inauguration ceremony for the production line in the International Hydrogen Energy Valley in Shanghai Lin-gang on June 9, 2023. The ceremony marked the official launch of Hytekocean's Lin-gang production line, which is another milestone of Hytekocean in the field of the hydrogen energy industry.

The ceremony was attended by guests from government, financial services, supply chain and intellectual institutions. The guests gathered together to witness this important moment and expressed their congratulations to Hytekocean for opening a new chapter in the hydrogen energy industry.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Prof. Chen, Chairman of Hytekocean, gave a speech and expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the guests for coming. He said that hydrogen energy, as a new form of energy, will fundamentally change the way the world generates, distributes, stores, and consumes energy. As the world is stepping towards a resource-recycling society, the hydrogen energy industry will have enormous opportunities and unpredictable potential. The large-scale industrial base completed in Lin-gang today, which focuses on hydrogen fuel cells and proton membrane electrolyzer, is the core and foundation of Hytekocean, and the engine of high-speed development in the future as well.

Prof. Chen said that Hytekocean has the world-leading core technologies of hydrogen fuel cell bipolar plate, electric stack, and fuel cell system. The fuel cell and system developed by the company independently cover 5W-150KW in power, realizing the localization of hydrogen fuel cell and its key material components, reducing the dependence on imports and substantially reducing the manufacturing cost. The company is continuously expanding the application and overall solutions of hydrogen fuel cell systems in multiple fields such as passenger cars, logistics vehicles, motorcycles, forklifts, offshore and ships, agricultural machinery, military industry, communications, drones, backup power, distributed energy, etc. The products that have been developed include bus vehicles, inland waterway vessels, living cabins, containerized freezer cabinets, portable power supplies, distributed energy, etc. The company's series products of hydrogen fuel cells and systems have entered commercial applications.

Meanwhile, Hytekocean International Joint Hydrogen Energy Institute (HIJEI) led by Hytekocean is a platform for strong domestic and foreign alliances, a bridge for international cooperation, a center for win-win cooperation in the upstream and downstream industries of hydrogen energy, an incubator for advanced technological achievements, and a window for testing hydrogen energy products. Prof. Chen said, in the future, Hytekocean will continue to respond to the guidelines and requirements of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area, absorb the world's advanced technologies more efficiently, make full use of the domestic and international markets and two resources to provide affordable hydrogen energy products with high-quality for China and the world, making positive contributions to the country's work to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

Zou Linkun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Lin-gang Fengxian Group, said that in the field of hydrogen energy and fuel cells, Lin-gang Special Area has stepped into a new era. Hytekocean, an international company with a profound overseas technology background and strong product practice experiences, has been stationed in Lin-gang International Hydrogen Energy Valley since 2021 and has completed the factory construction and production line arrangement according to the planned progress. “Today is a new starting point for Hytekocean. The hydrogen energy industry is the direction of future development with great significance to help achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, which can deeply promote the energy production and consumption goals, building a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system. Therefore, he expressed his warm congratulations on the completion of the Lin-gang production line of Hytekocean and also looked forward to the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was officially conducted under the joint witness of the guests. Zhou Hanmin, member of the standing committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Zou Linkun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Lin-gang Fengxian Group, Wang Haipeng of the High Technology Division of Lin-gang Management Commission, Chen Rui, Chairman of Hytekocean, and Ye Dejun, Vice Chairman of Hytekocean, participated in the ribbon cutting, marking the official completion of the Hytekocean Lin-gang production line.

After the ceremony, the guests visited the Lin-gang production line of Hytekocean.
