Hytek-News │ Hytekocean made its debut at Connecting Green Hydrogen MENA 2023 in Dubai
The 2nd Connecting Green Hydrogen MENA (CGHM2023) was held in Versace Hotel, Dubai from March 14th to 16th, 2023. Shanghai Hytekocean Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Hytekocean") was invited to participate in this event as a representative in the field of hydrogen fuel cell technology.
The summit focused on hydrogen renewable energy technology, market, production, and other aspects in the Middle East, North Africa and other regions, as well as exploring the future development potential and direction of hydrogen energy in the region. More than 1,000 participants from government departments, regulators, investors, developers, EPCs, manufacturers, and third-party consulting service providers attended the summit.
During the summit, the advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology of Hytekocean and its products in Europe and China aroused great interest and concern from all participants. As the host, the Minister of Energy of the United Arab Emirates paid a special visit to the exhibition hall of Hytekocean. The industrialization practice and product innovation of Hytekocean in the field of hydrogen energy in China have aroused the strong interest of the Minister. The Minister and Professor Rui Chen had a pragmatic exchange of more than two hours on the future areas and ways of cooperation between the two sides.
Following the Ministry of Energy of the United Arab Emirates, customers from Egypt, Malaysia, the Philippines, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and other countries also visited the exhibition stand of Hytekocean and expressed their intention to cooperate with Hytekocean. The exhibition stand of Hytekocean has also become a beautiful spot for this summit.
In an interview with reporters, Professor Rui Chen said that in the context of the current complex geopolitical pattern and the global consensus on carbon neutrality challenges, renewable energy has received unprecedented global attention. China has been ahead of the world in the photovoltaic field. Photovoltaic power generation has formed a cost advantage over traditional energy sources, and hydrogen energy-related industries will be an inevitable extension of the development of China's photovoltaic industry. In the next decade, China will continue to play an irreplaceable role in reducing the use cost of hydrogen energy, and the application of energy storage and downstream industries will usher in tremendous development opportunities. Attending this summit focusing on the development of green hydrogen energy in the Middle East and North Africa is an important step for Hytekocean to enter the international market. In the long run, the Middle East has a strong comparative advantage in the field of photovoltaic and hydrogen energy, which makes it also an important market for the hydrogen energy industry. The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Egypt, these market segments are all opportunities in the eyes of Hytekocean.
Hytekocean has been actively deployed in China for two years in the field of hydrogen fuel cell systems in China. At present, it is actively extending from downstream to upstream hydrogen production end, and its electrolytic cell technology has reached the international advanced level. In the follow-up tide of hydrogen energy development, Hytekocean hopes to work with its national and global counterparts to actively explore and coordinate development in the fields of technological innovation, product development, and market expansion, making its own contribution to the development of the global hydrogen industry.
